Not Much of an update

I am working on a " how to fuse box tuck " thread... Without giving away too much the tuck is only for s14's unfortunately. I don't think I will go through the trouble of tucking the fuse boxes on the s13, much less do I even know what the fuck they do! S14 Fuse box Relocation and Q&A thread Anyway headed down to the garage and laughed at my pulley bolt with my air gun. oil on the bolt and in the pulley means the seal is ready to be changed lol... the pulley however laughed back at me since I did not have a pulley remover handy. *face palm* so back to this lower harness mess. I have to sort out the lower harness before I can remove the fuse box as I need to figure out how I am going to run the wires that plug into the fuse box. Rather than make you scratch your head like a retard with engine diagram layouts and what not i'll simplify it. on the left is the KA24DE lower harness and on the right is the SR20DET Lower Harness Lets break down this KA harness and se

Wiring an S13 SR20DET up for an S14 (95-98)

If you've come here then you have decided to undertake the task of wiring up an s13sr20det motor for use in a 1995-1998 240sx. This isn't the end all guide or going to go over problem free for you if it's your first time wiring up an engine. But it will get you set on the right path. - Wayne Tips before you get started on buying stuff. make sure you only use adhesive heat shrink. Just so happens a strand of h/s I bought wasn't adhesive and the solder ended up corroding causing shorts/issues. I had to cut open the whole harness and replace all of the heat shrink to be sure.  Extra runs of wiring aren't really necessary to do this, you can use wires from your ka24de harness that are already color matched and the same gauge.  The s13sr20det harness can have about 3-4 inches removed from it behind the firewall (in car) but don't make any cuts until you know everything works, then shorten as desired.  If you break a plug/connector (use your brain a

So just two weeks ago... I had a vision.... of Candy Apple Red Wheels

Image
Back in this previous entry. So I had this crazy idea... I explained how I wanted to take my Volks which were in okay condition, and have them re-finished, but not only did I want them re-finished. I wanted them COMPLETELY candy apple red, minus some accented items on the wheels. So I sent them off with azndoc aka Jack on Zilvia. It was a pretty penny let me tell you, almost the cost of a new set of tires for these wheels. But the price was fair "PER WHEEL" I recon. I got the call that my wheels were ready to pick up so I wrapped up my dough and headed over to City Tire in South Gate, CA to pick up mah wheels. Here is Jack looking like a ner,ner,ner... or as some other people said, an Azian zombie! City Tire putting a ruber on it for safety. from wayne edwards on Vimeo . Went ahead and got some center caps too while I was at it. And now mounted on the car. Word up... Real legit -Wayne-
