Just gonna do a random photodump and just chat about some things. Embedding some you tube shorts as well. I previously mentioned how I was going to upgrade to hid's and led corner lights and turn signals. But I also wanted to black everything out, light output at night shouldn't be affected. May be a bit harder to see things during the day but I'm not too worried about it. The oem stuff was already pretty hard to see during the day anyway as shown in the example below.  So here is the final result of the headlight and corner light tint, I still have my old oem signal markers in. I was waiting to pick up my led ones from paint as there just was no way I was going to be able to wrap them. This is going to be a three part blog of some sort. I had been traveling to the 240 tuesday meets which are about 60 miles away from me and I head home to a lot of freeway and road construction so I can't see a damn thing. Normally I've never had any issues with my halogen projectors on the kouki headlights. But I've always been curious about doing an HID swap.  After seeing Hugo's s14 with dancing leds on his Zenki I was curious about getting some done for my car. I've always wanted some kind of led lights, but clearcorners.com lights were just never in my budget even though Mike Mamos is an acquaintance. The S14 Digital Climate control, is definitely a cool piece to have if you have a non gutted s-chassis and didn't decide to run gauges in your center vents like most people did in the 90's and early 20000's.  I think one of the biggest gripes about this piece is that it does not match the color of the center vent panel at all, it's a completely different shade of gray. I am not sure why the manufacturer Zexel did this. But I tried various things to try and spruce up my unit and I think it came out pretty good. Just came at a cost of a lot of trial and error.  It's mentioned in the Climate Control How To but this is what I did to re-seat the buttons on the unit as it's 25 year old plastic and they will break.  First mistake I made was trying to mask the buttons with painters tape and taking an xacto knife trying to mask the icons. I ended up gouging all of the buttons, This ultimately caused me to buy a second unit for 50 bucks on ebay to have as parts.  Soooooo...

Introduction  Hello,  So you wanna install one of these. I'll try to be the voice of reason in 2022 and tell you it's probably not even worth it. 10-15 years ago, heck yeah go for it.  But if you're insistent like myself, I'll give you all of the tools needed to get the job done.  It's been a while since I've installed this. 12 years in fact. I've contemplated making youtube videos but to be honest I am ungodly lazy.
