So last night I was going to load up some music on my ipod after listening to Lady Gaga's new video on her myspace.

but anyway so I was going to load up some music on my ipod when I completely remembered when I was at work and reached for it in my desk I noticed it was missing, with it's ipod charger. FML

So I guess it's no music for me, hopped in the car while it was a mess and tried to get some work done. First by swapping the ECU bracket from my KA24DE ECU to my SR20ECU.



Then I started getting wire splinters in my ass and knuckles crawling around in the car from when I did my engine harness, which I think I'm going to try and finish sleeving the inner portion since I cant figure out how to get it the fuck out of the car now LOL!




busted out the Dyson with the animal attachment and all better.



also buttoned up everything on the passenger side, the female F3 Plug, the ECU Relay, and the Wiper Amp got zip tied until I can find a mounting solution for that area.

seriously was getting on my nerves but did not feel like de-pinning it. I also have to wire up the AC plug from the ECU here. If you are keeping your AC with your sr20 and don't know how to wire it up.

AC - compressor won't kick on.

well my roomate wanted to borrow my digital camera this weekend so I wasn't going to get any pictures of me doing all of the wiring this weekend, turns out he never came home last night and got it. So maybe you will get to see me wire some shit up.



I think I am going to make the electric fan wiring work somehow out this way, we'll sort it out by the end of today that's for sure. I haven't received my check in the mail yet so I cant buy fuses or my other fusebox to test any of my electrical this weekend which is fucking FAIL!!!



I also don't like the way that brake booster line has a kink in it. I seriously want to have a new charge pipe fabbed. I want to have all of the pipes fabbed but whats the point if I go top mount later on?



This is where we left off.

If you've come here then you have decided to undertake the task of wiring up an s13sr20det motor for use in a 1995-1998 240sx. This isn't the end all guide or going to go over problem free for you if it's your first time wiring up an engine. But it will get you set on the right path. - Wayne Tips before you get started on buying stuff. make sure you only use adhesive heat shrink. Just so happens a strand of h/s I bought wasn't adhesive and the solder ended up corroding causing shorts/issues. I had to cut open the whole harness and replace all of the heat shrink to be sure.  Extra runs of wiring aren't really necessary to do this, you can use wires from your ka24de harness that are already color matched and the same gauge.  The s13sr20det harness can have about 3-4 inches removed from it behind the firewall (in car) but don't make any cuts until you know everything works, then shorten as desired.  If you break a plug/connector (use your brain a...

Almost there!

Just gonna do a random photodump and just chat about some things. Embedding some you tube shorts as well. I previously mentioned how I was going to upgrade to hid's and led corner lights and turn signals. But I also wanted to black everything out, light output at night shouldn't be affected. May be a bit harder to see things during the day but I'm not too worried about it. The oem stuff was already pretty hard to see during the day anyway as shown in the example below.  So here is the final result of the headlight and corner light tint, I still have my old oem signal markers in. I was waiting to pick up my led ones from paint as there just was no way I was going to be able to wrap them. RX330 Projectors, Dancing Led Signals, and Blackout Tint

This is going to be a three part blog of some sort. I had been traveling to the 240 tuesday meets which are about 60 miles away from me and I head home to a lot of freeway and road construction so I can't see a damn thing. Normally I've never had any issues with my halogen projectors on the kouki headlights. But I've always been curious about doing an HID swap.  After seeing Hugo's s14 with dancing leds on his Zenki I was curious about getting some done for my car. I've always wanted some kind of led lights, but clearcorners.com lights were just never in my budget even though Mike Mamos is an acquaintance.
