I just wanted to come and post a quick little update on the car.


coming to you live. LOL!!! it's hot as fuck, I changed into shorts, my pants were soaked from sweat.


This is where I started this morning, just needed to clean up my wiring, make sure my relays were tucked away, and made sure any part of the harness that could rub anything was double wrapped with tape, then had that Caterpillar shit put on it, then more tape on top of that.


getting more serious... and hot. Relays all tucked away, I'm down to 4 relays now.

-headlights
-ac relay
-fan switch relay (Bosch relay)
-clutch interlock relay

I have the wires set aside for the fan high speed wiring, if I feel in the future it will be necessary to wire it up, I want to have it avail. But again I will wait until I can afford one of those fancy fan controllers.

My radiator is so big cooling shouldn't even be a problem. I shouldn't even need that fan on.


Got the ECU bolted in, all lower harness stuff bolted in, everything secure and tucked away.

(my fan amp thing that's missing is bad, so it's not mounted at this current time.)

fuse box clearance is excellent, almost too excellent lol. But it's great, the dashboard doesn't even touch it and nothing obstructs me from getting my hands in there and replacing fuses or seeing what's going on.

Anyway the wiring for my sun load sensor was too short, so I am going to extend that quite a bit right now, then I'll be bolting up the rest of the engine and maybe take it for a spin around the block to piss off the neighbors and see how the car sounds with that new evil down pipe from partsbymax.

If you've come here then you have decided to undertake the task of wiring up an s13sr20det motor for use in a 1995-1998 240sx. This isn't the end all guide or going to go over problem free for you if it's your first time wiring up an engine. But it will get you set on the right path. - Wayne Tips before you get started on buying stuff. make sure you only use adhesive heat shrink. Just so happens a strand of h/s I bought wasn't adhesive and the solder ended up corroding causing shorts/issues. Just gonna do a random photodump and just chat about some things. Embedding some you tube shorts as well. I previously mentioned how I was going to upgrade to hid's and led corner lights and turn signals. But I also wanted to black everything out, light output at night shouldn't be affected. May be a bit harder to see things during the day but I'm not too worried about it. The oem stuff was already pretty hard to see during the day anyway as shown in the example below.  So here is the final result of the headlight and corner light tint, I still have my old oem signal markers in. I was waiting to pick up my led ones from paint as there just was no way I was going to be able to wrap them. RX330 Projectors, Dancing Led Signals, and Blackout Tint

This is going to be a three part blog of some sort. I had been traveling to the 240 tuesday meets which are about 60 miles away from me and I head home to a lot of freeway and road construction so I can't see a damn thing. Normally I've never had any issues with my halogen projectors on the kouki headlights. But I've always been curious about doing an HID swap.  After seeing Hugo's s14 with dancing leds on his Zenki I was curious about getting some done for my car.
